Like so many other wedding vendors, the fall brings an influx of weddings our way, but it also tends to bring a major shift from light and bright designs to a much more dark and moody vibe. Taylor and Dylan Medina embraced every aspect of the dark and moody and we think they absolutely nailed it.
Katelyn Turner nailed the styling in her gorgeous photos of the couple.
Our gift to every couple that chooses us as their wedding florist is what we call a Flat Lay Box. It’s a box of extra floral, ribbon, and other accessories that we’ve used in the wedding design that we gift to the photographer so that they can use those pieces in their styling photos such as the ring photo above.
The groomsmen opted for dark and moody pocket boutonnieres.
Seriously loving how Taylor chose to show off her floral tattoos on her wedding day. They pair perfectly with the bridal bouquet design if we do say so ourselves!
We added both short and tall centerpieces to create some dimension and levels in the ballroom at Hornbaker Gardens. It’s already a stunning venue, with giant windows and wood beams, but the candlelight really made it sparkle.
The alternating of the dark and moody textured goblets just added another layer of dimension to the tablescape.
Can we take a minute for these gorgeous bridesmaids? All velvet and all moody, but different colors and different styles. Love these!
I didn’t know about Ben & Jerry’s until I was working on the menu cards, but then to find out it was served via an ice cream truck. How cool is that?
